Comforting tourtière

Rediscover this end of the year classic, vegan style. For the dough, we bought it ready-made from the store. With a three year old child at home, we wanted to make it as fast as possible :) . Nevertheless, we strongly encourage you to make your own dough and share the recipe with us. Tourtière tested and approved in family.
Ingredients
- 4 Porat Veggie Burgers Original (1 package)
- 6 oz of portebello mushrooms
- 1 store-bought vegan pie dough
- 2 potatoes
- 1 large onion
- 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
- 1/3 cup vegetable broth
- 1 clove of garlic
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Preheat the oven at 350˚F
- Peel the vegetables. Chop the garlic and onions, dice the potatoes.
- Boil the potatoes.
- Meanwhile, in a pan, heat the onions and garlic in oil.
- In a food processor, chop the vegan burgers and add them to the pan.
- In a food processor, chop the mushrooms and add to the pan.
- Add the vegetable stock, tomato paste, mustard, spices, salt and pepper. Continue cooking for 1 minute while stirring. Remove from the heat.
- Drain potatoes when cooked and add with all the mixture.
- Empty the mixture into your crust, close the crust and cut small incisions in the crust to allow steam to escape during cooking.
- Bake for 35 to 45 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
